Jessica Kay is a passionate advocate who believes in the healing power of human connection. Her journey from being a survivor of domestic violence, human trafficking, and homelessness to a beacon of hope and change in her community is nothing short of inspiring.
Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from UNLV and a master’s degree in social work from USC. Currently working as a Clinical Social Work Intern at A Better Tomorrow and serving as a Survivor Consultant for UNITAS, she tirelessly champions the rights of vulnerable individuals.
As a member of The Nevada Policy Council on Human Trafficking, Jessica actively contributes to policy and advocacy efforts. She played a pivotal role in shaping Nevada’s CSEC Strategic Plan and has received recognition for her dedication, including the Freedom Award from the New Jersey Coalition against Human Trafficking and being named one of Las Vegas's '40 Under 40.'
Jessica's impact extends beyond her local community, as she collaborates with agencies nationwide to advocate for change and support survivors on their journeys toward healing."
